Operations

Reporting reads the rows the till wrote.

Revenue, items, tables, channels, staff and GST all come out of the same bills your cashier settled and the same orders your kitchen cooked. There is no separate reporting database to fall out of step with the till, and no nightly export to forget.

01The screen

Pick a period. Everything else follows it.

One set of chips changes the whole page — the tiles, the trend, the top items and the channel split — and every figure carries the previous period beside it.

02What you can do

Eleven drill-downs behind one overview.

Sales by day, week, month

Revenue, orders and average order value, each carrying the previous period or last year beside it.

Menu engineering

Every item plotted on margin against popularity — stars, plowhorses, puzzles and dogs, with item velocity.

Turnover and peak hours

Covers, table turns and the hours they happen in, so the roster is built on the shape of the week.

Channel split

Dine-in, takeaway and delivery — and within them, whether the order came from the counter, a waiter, a table QR, the kiosk or your website.

Staff performance

Sales per hour, labour cost as a share of revenue, attendance and tips, by person and by shift.

GST and financial

GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, the HSN summary and the tax invoice register, plus P&L, cash flow and the Z-report.

03Reports

The reports your accountant already asks for.

A library of pre-built reports, each one downloadable now or scheduled to arrive on its own. If what you want isn't in the library, the builder assembles it from dimensions, metrics and filters.

  • Daily sales summary, item sales, Z-report and mid-shift X-report
  • GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, HSN summary and the tax invoice register
  • Closing stock, wastage, supplier ledger, refunds and discounts
  • Staff attendance and payroll, P&L and cash flow
  • Schedule any of them daily, weekly or monthly to an email address or a WhatsApp number
  • Export as CSV, Excel or PDF — and for GST, a zip of all three

04One source

No second system to reconcile.

Most restaurants discover the gap at the end of the month: the till says one thing, the spreadsheet says another, and somebody spends an evening finding out why. Here the report and the bill are the same rows, in the same schema, for the same restaurant.

  • Reporting reads your restaurant's own PostgreSQL schema — nothing is copied out
  • Daily aggregates are rebuilt from those same bills, never typed or imported
  • A voided bill, a refund or a comped item shows up as what it was
  • Tax is reported on the post-discount taxable value, exactly as it was charged
  • What a role may see is enforced per report, not hidden in the interface
Step 01 The order Items, add-ons, covers, table and the channel it arrived on
Step 02 The bill Discount, GST on the taxable value, round-off, tender
Step 03 The same rows Read back for the report — not re-keyed, not exported, not mirrored
Step 04 The report On screen, on a schedule, or as a CSV your accountant opens

From till to report, one path

06Roles

Not everyone sees every number.

Analytics is not one permission. Each area — sales, menu, inventory, customers, staff, operations, GST, financial, marketing, insights — is its own check, so a bundle can carry the pages that role needs and none of the ones it doesn't.

  • Owner All of it. Every drill-down, plus the right to schedule reports and set alert thresholds.
  • Manager All of it, and the schedules. The same pages as the owner, including GST and financial, and control of who receives which report when.
  • Supervisor Read the business, don't automate it. The drill-downs, without creating or editing scheduled reports and alerts.
  • Cashier End of day, floor and cash. Sales, operations and the financial roll-up — not customer lifetime value, not payroll, not the GST registers.
  • Waiter Their shift. Sales and operations only — floor performance and the shift's numbers.
  • Kitchen The pass, not the P&L. Menu performance, prep times and stock movement; nothing financial, nothing about customers.
  • Accountant Revenue and exports. The revenue view, payroll and payslips, and the right to export — without any operational control of the restaurant.

Permissions are atomic and checked on every endpoint. A role is a named bundle of them, not a rank — a staff member can hold several bundles at once and their access is the union.

See it running on your menu.

We set the restaurant up with you — menu, tables, staff and printers — rather than handing over a login and wishing you luck.
