Kiosk payment methods in Settings
0:00You now decide which payment options your self-order kiosk shows: UPI, Pay at Counter, or both.
The Payments tab in Settings has a new card, Kiosk payment methods, with two switches: Pay now (UPI) and Pay at Counter. Both are on from the start, and the setting applies to every kiosk in your restaurant. The line at the bottom of the card always tells you what the kiosk is actually offering right now.

What the customer sees on the kiosk
0:31This is the Pay screen on the customer's side. With both switches on, it shows two tiles.
Pay now (UPI): the customer scans and pays by themselves. Pay at Counter: the customer pays when they come to the counter to collect the order.

When UPI or the gateway is down
0:46Say UPI is down because of a problem at the bank or the payment gateway. The customer scans, the payment fails, and the queue gets stuck right there.
Now you just switch one setting off. The kiosk shows only Pay at Counter, orders keep coming in, and the cashier collects the money.
The opposite works just as well. Late at night, when nobody is at the counter, switch Pay at Counter off and the kiosk takes prepaid orders only.
Switch UPI off and save
1:14All you do is switch Pay now (UPI) off and save. The line at the bottom changes immediately: only Pay at Counter is available now, so the kiosk will skip the choice screen.

Kiosk goes straight to Pay at Counter
1:27On the kiosk, the customer goes through the same phone step and presses Continue, and the payment-choice screen never appears. The order is placed straight away as Pay at Counter, and the thank-you screen clearly says Paying at counter.
Then the kiosk gets itself ready for the next customer on its own, with no restart and no pairing again.
Three safety checks built in
1:47Keep three things in mind. One: at least one method must stay on, so the last switch won't turn off. Two: if UPI is on but no UPI ID or payment gateway is set up, the kiosk hides UPI by itself and Settings shows a warning. Three: if a customer is in the middle of checkout and you switch off the method they were using, the kiosk tells them and asks them to pick the other option.
As soon as UPI is back, switch the same setting on again: Settings, Payments, Kiosk payment methods.
